I can’t believe it’s already 2025! 2024 felt like the fastest year of my life. It was full of amazing moments in my personal life—I got a crazy puppy and also got married!
In my artist and self-employed life, the year flew by before I even noticed it. I’m endlessly grateful for all the projects I worked on last year. So many amazing authors trusted me with their book covers, and I also had the chance to create my very own affirmation deck. The Celestial Flora deck was a career highlight for me, and I’m incredibly proud of it.
That said, I feel like I lost a bit of what originally inspired me to start Forensics and Flowers. I was so focused on everything else that I forgot to design anything just for myself.
Going into 2025, I have a goal: to explore my creativity, push my boundaries, and have fun with personal illustration. I want to step out of the lovely, warm comfort zone I’ve built and see where my work can truly take me. I plan to expand my Ponder and Post range and create more silly little illustrations. Of course, I also want to continue designing beautiful book covers!
